Choirs of Gaia

Figaia

2019

tongue of salt

The Coro de Gaia was one of the most ambitious projects of the International Forum of Gaia, aspiring to constitute itself as an aggregator body of a culturally active citizenship and in contact with different sections of our society. A structure open to professionals and amateurs, the choir has the collaboration of music schools in the municipality.
With a history that is lost in the origins of humanity, both artistically and politically, choral singing is the ultimate symbol of the unity of a community, the vigor and optimism of our assemblies. Over time, it was through the choir that we represented the tribulations and achievements of our common life, that we launched our supplications and expressed our collective anxieties and ambitions. He represents us in the history of music and theater and is a cultural exchange currency between our communities.
